  • ETHNIC CULINARY FAIR — 10 am to 10 pm in Park Hidalgo. A cultural fair with food demonstrations, dance and crafts from various Jalisco indigenous people. LAST DAY
  • VIA RECREACTIVA — 8 am to 2 pm. From the Sports Stadium to the Holiday Inn, Fco. Medina Ascencio (the main airport road) will be closed to traffic for a public walk, bicycle, run. Traffic will be diverted to the laterals. CANCELLED UNTIL JAN 6.
  • LA CRUZ FARMERS MARKET (MERCADO HUANACAXTLE) — 10 am to 2 pm at the La Cruz Marina.
  • CONCERT — Municipal Band, beginning at 6 pm, Presidencia Square, FREE

THURSDAY January 3

  • IFC HOME TOURS — 10:30 am staring at I. Vallarta and Aquiles Serdan. Tour the homes of the Vallarta rich and famous. Proceeds benefit the IFC cleft palate program. 450 pesos.
  • VALLARTA SCENE EXPAT MEETUP — 5 pm to 8 pm at Casa Isabel. A lively *extended* happy hour get-together for expats, visitors and nationals. Everyone is invited.
