Las Fiestas del Cristo Resucitado in Pitillal

For those who love Frida, Pitillal, Mexican Traditional Fiestas, charreadas, etc, this article is worth translating.

México es un país de fiesta y tradiciones, en todas sus ciudades grandes o pequeñas, pueblos y hasta la más pequeña ranchería celebran con alegría y fervor sus fiestas patronales. En el municipio Puerto Vallarta sobresale por su tamaño territorial y numero de habitantes la Delegación del Pitillal, pueblo conservador y típicamente mexicano que en el mes de septiembre celebra a su santo patrono San Miguel, pero desde el año de 1992 se inició el festejo a “Cristo Resucitado” con motivo del nombramiento de Parroquia del mencionado templo y la colocación de la monumental escultura en madera del Cristo, siendo el párroco Agustín Ibarría Parra, estableciendo como día festivo el 23 de marzo y año con año ha ido creciendo éste, siendo una de los mas concurridos en el municipio.

En estos días su plaza principal se llena de colorido y música, puestos de antojitos; elotes, crepas, tamales, tacos, dulces, globos, entre otros auténticamente mexicanos, juegos mecánicos para la diversión de los mas pequeños, de destreza para los mas grandes como el tiro al blanco, venta de artículos diversos para el hogar, ropa, regalos, etc.

El atractivo principal en estas festividades será el teatro del pueblo que contara con la participación de artistas y grupos locales de gran calidad, del 15 al 23 de marzo a partir de las siete de la noche.

Llama la atención los días 20 de marzo la presentación de la obra teatral “FRIDA” , que con gran éxito se presenta en el teatro Vallarta y el 23 una muy mexicana charreada con la participación de jinetes de la región, en el lienzo charro “La Herradura”.

Entrevistamos al Delegado Municipal, Iván Ulises Bravo Carvajal, quien comentó, “queremos dar a los habitantes de esta Delegación y los visitantes, unas fiestas con un ambiente familiar, este año coordinándonos con el Padre Job, comerciantes, charros y con el gran apoyo de nuestro Presidente Municipal, Salvador González Reséndiz, quien nos ha girado instrucciones para que junto con los departamentos, de Seguridad Pública, Servicios Públicos y Desarrollo Social, coordinemos la organización para evitar problemas y dar la mejor imagen a quienes asistan a disfrutar estos festejos”
“Vamos a presentar diferentes eventos, contaremos con cantantes, payasos, exhibiciones deportivas, charreadas, la obra de teatro “Frida”, bici paseo familiar, sabemos que esto causa algunas molestias entre algunos vecinos, pero les pedimos un poco de comprensión, pero es necesario cerrar algunas calles para que las fiestas luzcan y garantizar la diversión y seguridad a los asistentes”, concluyó el delegado municipal.
