Vallarta Reina de Reinas 2010, the Miss Gay Vallarta 2010 Beauty Contest, is scheduled for May 1st at 8 pm at Rancho Alegre in Colonia Bobadilla. 15 contestants are entered and there will be music and live entertainment at the event.

On April 30th at 5 pm, there will also be an introductory party on the roof of the Blue Chairs resort. Entrance to this event is free. Meet the contestants.

Tickets are 100 pesos advance and 130 pesos at the door.

THE KINSEY SICKS, America’s Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet, bring their new touring show Puerto Vallarta this February at Club Manana.

Spawned in San Francisco 16 years ago, THE KINSEY SICKS combine rich, four-part harmony, biting satire and over-the-top drag. THE KINSEY SICKS have performed in 40 states, Mexico, Canada, and Europe, and will soon have their Australia debut during Sydney Mardi Gras 2010. Billboard Magazine calls them “one act that should not be missed” and the New York Times has praised their “voices sweet as birdsong.”

THE KINSEY SICKS starred in their own Off-Broadway show at New York’s legendary Studio 54 and have headlined in Las Vegas. They have released six CDs and were the subjects of two feature films, both of which premiered at the San Francisco International Lesbian and Gay Film Festival.

There is no cover for this show and there is a special reduced-price drink menu! All martinis, Manhattans and cosmos are half-price during the show! Beers are only $15 pesos.
