Medical Matters Expo 2012

Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Hotel Marriott:

On February 6, 2012 we will have our annual Medical Matters Conference at the Hotel Marriott. This is a NO CHARGE event to the public! Sponsored by HealthCare Resources, The US Consular Agency, The Hotel Marriott and Sharp Hospitals (San Diego), we expect this years conference to be even bigger and better last year. (Last year we expected 200 attendees, and we had approximately 600!). It was a smashing success with rave reviews.

The day will feature a vast array of healthcare-related providers including international insurance representatives, local private hospitals, clinics, physicians, spas, diagnostic centers, labs – just to name a few. In addition, we will have a non-stop speakers program including local physicians on general healthcare topics and as well, physicians from Sharp Hospital System (all specialists) speaking on a wide variety of specialty topics (program out soon).

Doors open at 9:00 am and we finish at 7:00 pm. The Hotel Marriott offers a special discounted price for lunch – this was very popular last year!

THE IFC OPEN HOUSE… GIVING BACK is FUN!

“Fun and Giving Back” is one way we like to describe our personal investment in the work of the International Friendship Club – expats from over the world coming together to help create an effective “United Way” for Puerto Vallarta.

If you are an IFC member we are asking you to “Join In” and to share this opportunity to be of service with your friends and neighbors who are not currently members.

If you are not a member and do not know anyone who is — you too are welcome at our Open House! Come see who we are and what we do in the community.

For 2012 we are planning some new service projects, new club events and more FUN for everyone.

2012 Noche de las Luminarias

On Tuesday, February 7, 2012, join fellow Vallarta Botanical Garden members for an evening of fun and glamor under the stars at the sixth annual Noche de las Luminarias, our yearly membership appreciation night.

Vallarta Botanical Gardens at NightThe festivities will include:

  • A Mexican Buffet
  • A Mariachi Band
  • The Tuito Folkloric Dancers
  • A DJ for dancing
  • A raffle and silent auction

Admission to the party is with paid new or renewed membership only.

Transportation is provided by motor coach with departures at 4:30 and 5:30 pm from Lazaro Cardenas Park in Old Town. Return trip to PV is at 10 and 10:30 pm. Parking is limited at the Gardens.

Regular Member and Senior Level memberships admit 2 people.
Corporate or Villa level memberships can bring up to 6 guests.

Purchases of VBG annual memberships help the Garden in its important mission.

Dress is smart casual and a light jacket or sweater is recommended.
