A Que?Pasa New Years Eve Boat Bash

We have chartered the Bora Bora for New Years Eve.

What better place to watch the Fireworks and Festivities than from a gigantic trimaran in the bay off the malecón. As the new year progresses, we will tour the coastline up to the fireworks that happen an hour later in Nuevo. This is the best seat in town.

Pick-up is by water taxi at the Playa Muertos pier starting at 9 pm. Drop-off is at the same place around 1:30 am. The Traveling Band will be providing the live music while we cruise the bay and there will be an open bar the whole time you are on the boat. Que?Pasa is not an ordinary tourist bar and this will not be an ordinary booze cruise.

A complimentary bottle of champagne will be given to each passenger.

The price is 650 pesos. Reservations (with deposit) are necessary. Come on in to Que?Pasa (see map) and sign-up with one of our bartenders.

We will also have a dinner special on the Ribs or Filet Mignon for 100 pesos if you would like to eat at Que?Pasa before we take-off for the pier.

Help us make this event a success and we will start doing it every year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.

San Pancho Classical Concert brings in the 2010 New Year

To close with a flourish the year, the group Lemmus / Peninsula announced it will present, as part of its Winter Festival 2009 – 2010, a big concert with the Chamber Orchestra of the Riviera Nayarit, conducted by Maestro José Miguel Ferrer with soprano Alma Rocio Jimenez. The concert will feature works by renowned composers such as Bellini, Verdi and Puccini and interpreted by international soprano Alma Rocío Jiménez Nayarit.

The event will benefit the arts and cultural community in the Riviera Nayarit. A donation of $975 pesos per person includes three spectacular shows, a three course dinner, an international open bar and mariachis to welcome the arrival of 2010.

At this concert will be music for dancing and fireworks to complete the holiday.

This price includes round trip transportation departing at 8 pm from the Peninsula Vallarta Mall returning at 2 am. Transportation will also be provided to and from the Villa Magna in Nuevo Vallarta on the same schedule.

2009 Casa Isabel Halloween Party

It was a good night. Over 100 people showed for the party and most were in full costume. We had a cock “sucker,” multiple witches, multiple pirates, a gaggle of Barbies and Bedrock Babes, a swine flu nurse and doctor intervention team, Michael Jackson and many unrecognizable but relatively interesting human and animal variant interpretations.

Unfortunately, the Puerto Vallarta Reglamentos (cops/aka Chocolate Divas) showed up and tried to close the party down and nearly caused a riot but we staunchly defended our Constitutional Rights and were eventually able to overcome as one of the guests forced the cutest of the Reglamentos into a partially involuntary act of faux-cunnilingus, in the spirit of strengthening International Relations.
