Digital Offerings for the Altar of Life
The First International Day of the Dead Exhibit 2007
Digital Offerings for the Altar of Life invites artists worldwide to submit their art via a specially created web site. In addition, artists and non-artists can submit photos of deceased people they want to honor. These digital images will be printed, mounted and hung in the exhibit space. Other images will be selected for a digital, slideshow montage.
Eat Me, the new pizza/wine bar located on the South Side is having an art opening/pizza sampling party to which everyone is invited.
Starting at 8 pm, Friday the 27th of July, there will be free sampling of all of their rather unusually named pizzas.
Eat Me is across the street from Tia Katrina and down the block from Bruce’s Back Alley Bistro.

Galeria Octavio will host art exhibition cocktail receptions on the last Saturday of every month throughout the summer season. For more information, stop by the gallery at 1115 Av. Mexico in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
A special Summer Solstice Vallarta Art Walk will be presented for Vallarta residents and the occasional summer tourista on Wednesday, June 20, from 7 to 10pm.
Normally the Art Walk season ends with March, but this is a noteworthy exception to the rule.
The Association of local galleries that participate in the Art Walk has confirmed that during the next summer season, the following galleries will remain open and in operation with their regular schedules during the months of June, July and August. Córsica, Beatriz Narváez, Omar Alonso and Des Artistes, Arte Latinoamericano, Pacífico, UNO, The Loft, Corona, De Ollas, Sergio Bustamante, Vallarta and 8 y Más.
In celebration of the Summer Solstice, the Art Walk Association is presenting an exhibition of the best artists from each of the above galeries.
Refreshments will be served at the various galleries.
