2011 Miss Mexico Contest
The Grand Finale of the Miss Puerto Vallarta segment of this contest will take place on Saturday, July 23, at 8 pm in Teatro Vallarta. Advance tickets are 200 pesos and at the door, 250. The afterparty will be at Ztai, with admission by the same tickets from Teatro Vallarta.

Ximena Navarrete
This annual beauty contest will feature three distinct phases starting in Mexico City on July 22 for the initial trials, from which the successful contestants will travel to Puerto Vallarta where the second event of the contest, the catwalk in bathing suits, cocktail dresses and costumes, will take place on August 18.
The decision to hold the contest in Jalisco was made because, for three years in a row, finalists have been from Jalisco state, including the current Miss Universe, Ximena Navarrete.
Final stage of the competition will take place on 20 August, here in Vallarta, featuring the final catwalk in bathing suits, dresses, and a small speech. This final stage features the final 15 contestants, one of which will be crowned Miss Mexico and a candidate for the Miss World 2012 contest.
In what will be the eighteenth edition of the contest, Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2010, Karin Ontiveros, and Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico 2010, Cynthia De La Vega will crown their successors.
The Winner of Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2011 will represent Mexico in Miss Universe 2012, Nuestra Belleza Mundo Mexico will participate in Miss World 2012, and Nuestra Belleza Mexico in Miss International 2012 International.
In all, 34 candidates will participate in these titles.
