Images of a hurricane in Puerto Vallarta
101 photographs of Hurricane Kenna, one of the greatest natural disasters in Puerto Vallarta history, is on display from February 26 to March 24 at la Casa de Enlace Puerto Vallarta in Guadalajara.

In the seven years since hurricane Kenna slammed the Jalisco coast, photojournalist Javier Perez has collected visual volumes of photographs for this display. 101 photographs are grouped into 21 categories according to related contents (the boardwalk, cars destroyed by the waves, the damage after the hurricane…).
The idea, says Perez, is to remind the public that “la naturaleza es poderosa” (“nature is powerful”).
La Casa de Enlace Puerto Vallarta is located at Luis Pérez Verdía 174.
