Pitillal River Cleanup » Sunday, April 19
If you’re the ecological type and want to get to know some locals with similar interests, why not participate in a community River Cleanup on Sunday, April 19, starting at 8 am at the Public Works building by the Pitiallal Soriana Shopping Center on Fco Villa?
You don’t need to know Spanish but you will probably learn some. All you need is comfy clothing and shoes, a hat, gloves, sun screen, water, a lunch and some bags. The group will walk the banks of the Pitillal River from Soriana to the beach.
This event is sponsored by the GRUPO ECOLÓGICO DE PUERTO VALLARTA A.C.

Vallarta’s Growing Beaches
I don’t know if anyone else has noticed but the beaches on Puerto Vallarta’s central and south sides have grown noticeably larger this season, compared to at least the last 6 years. What was once only rock is now sand.
It’s a good time to be at the beach.
