Bike Week 2008 – November 20 to 23
From November 20 to 23, Puerto Vallarta will experience hundreds of bikers from all over the world participating in Bike Week 2008.

Activities include a Malecón party, 2 poker runs, a wet t-shit contest, 2 live concerts, contests, games, The Parade (from the Marina Whale to Olas Altas), and all those things that bikers do on holiday.

Ticket presales are 400 pesos, with the price 450 pesos at the event. This ticket includes: a t-shirt, bandana, souvenirs, entrance to the concerts and other events.
The event hotel is the Club Embarcadero Pacifico and their event price is 749 pesos per person, double occupancy. This includes all meals and booze (All Inclusive).

Day of Peace Concert » Arcano, Sept 21
September 21 is officially designated by the United Nations as World Peace Day.
To celebrate in Vallartense style, a Peace Concert headlining Erika del Real and her brother Vick from the duet Arcano will take place at The Westin Hotel and Spa at 6:30, Sunday September 21. This event was organized by Ana Luisa Espinosa after she had seen Jeremy Gilley’s film, “The Day After Peace” which will also be shown at the concert.
Tickets are $200 pesos the proceeds from the event to go to Becas Vallarta.

The Low Season in Puerto Vallarta is in full force. Calendar listings are sparse. Tourists are rare. The temperature is warm and the humidity is high. This is the most sensual time of the year in the tropics. With this hot summer weather, the activity now centers on the beaches and the clubs.
For all of those sitting around, suffering in paradise, wondering what to do, next week comes alive with the Independence Day celebrations here in Vallarta. Two parades, lots of fireworks, lots of music and public parties. Don’t miss the Grito on September 15 if you want to see the Vallartense in reality.

1st Annual Puerto Vallarta Clown Festival » Dec 9 to 11
From 9 to December 11, Puerto Vallarta will host the First National Clown Festival (Primer Festival de Payasos), at the Malecón Los Arcos outdoor theater, Auditorium CECATUR and Park Hidaldo.
For three days, over 150 clowns from all over Mexico will attend conferences and workshops and entertain the public with a common goal of providing joy to children.
Prizes will be given for single and group performances, as well as for makeup and costumes. Entry to the contests is open to everyone, professional and amateur, alike, and there is no charge to enter any competition. Registration for competitions is from 9 am to 5 pm at Los Arcos Amphitheater on December 9.Admission is free to all events.
The main organizer, Juan Pablo Vazquez the clown “PAPOS”, Patita de Perro, said that this idea of the first meeting of clowns, dating from 8 years ago but had not been crystallized for several reasons.
