- DIA DE LOS MUERTOS — Fiesta from 7 – 11 pm in downtown Vallarta, with Xiutla Folkloric Ballet, mariachi, fireworks and more.
- NATURAL & ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE FAIR — Encuentro Vallartense de Medicina Natural y Alternativa, daily in Cardenas Park until Nov 2. Traditional ceremonies, sales of herbs and treatment by Shamans and therapists. LAST DAY.
- CHARITY BINGO — 6 – 9 pm, at Nacho Daddy, 180 Basilio Badillo, benefit for Pasitos de Luz child care.
- MALECON SCULPTURE WALK — 6:30 – 8 pm, Learn about the Malecon sculptures, Free
- ELECTION PARTY/WAKE — 8 pm on… Democrats Abroad meeting at Que Pasa, Aquiles Serdan 625, to watch the US election results. Everyone welcome.
WEDNESDAY November 3
- VALLARTA ART WALK — 6 – 10 pm, self-guided tours of Centro art galleries, some with drinks and snacks.
- BAR FRIDA MOVIE NIGHT — 9 pm, Billie Elliot 25 pesos donation for VES, free popcorn, cheap beer.
THURSDAY November 4
- MUSIC — Municipal Band, 6 pm, Presidencia Square, FREE
- VALLARTASCENE XPAT MEET & GREET — 6 – 9 pm happy hour at Casa Isabel, Everyone invited to a very casual social evening at the Casa.
FRIDAY November 5
- BECAS GOLF CLASSIC — 11 am, Elimination Scramble at the Marina Vallarta Club de Golf to benefit Becas Foundation. $95 (US) signup. Many prizes.
- TORNEO DE PESCA — the 3rd Los Muertos Pier Fishing Tournament, local fishermen compete. Only $100 (US) per boat signup.
- LIVE MUSIC — at Que?Pasa, 6 pm – open mic, 8 pm – The Baddies.
SATURDAY November 6
- TORNEO DE PESCA — the 3rd Los Muertos Pier Fishing Tournament, The boats come in at 3 pm, the prizes are awarded and there is a Free BBQ of the catch on the beach.
- FARMERS MARKET OPENING — 10 am to 2 pm at the New Paradise Community Center, Pulpito #127 (across from Coco’s Restaurant).
- DOGS & CATS — Pet Adoptions, Los Mangos Library, 10 am to 2 pm
- LITERARY — Vallarta Writers’ Group Meeting, 10:30 am, at IFC. This week’s discussion is about EBooks and EBook Readers.
- HEALTH FAIR — noon to 6:30 pm, Park Cardenas. Free condoms (male and female), lubricant, rapid HIV test, information. Sponsored by VES.
- THE FINAL LEG BENEFIT — 4 – 10 pm, Cafe Roma, The Fox-Einstien tour benefiting the School of Champions. Raffle, Food, Drink, Music.
- LIVE MUSIC — The Zippers, (classic rock), 8 pm til midnight at Que?Pasa. No cover.
SUNDAY November 7
- VII MEDIO MARATON
- BEACH CLEANUP — 9 am, volunteer event sponsored by the organization PEACE, meet in front of Oscar’s Restaurant on the Cuale island. (1 to 2 hours involved)
