In an interview, Luis Rico said that since 1968 he became involved in the world of photography.

“I took this picture at precisely to 9:25 in the morning. It is one of the first images of the hurricane, which lasted only about 10 minutes.” He stressed that what came to Puerto Vallarta 5 years ago was a great wave and not exactly the full force of the hurricane, although millions of pesos in damage were lost in the hotel zone.

He also noted that life has been generous with him.
