Fabulous food, marvelous music and charitable causes come together at the Palomazo Culinario, also known as the Puerto Vallarta Culinary Jam, at the Marriott CasaMagna Puerto Vallarta on Monday, October 29th, 2007.

This “event of friends for friends,” was the brainchild in 2004 of Chef Lois Fitch of Los Xitomates to raise money for three of his favorite Puerto Vallarta charities.
Last year, this event was attended by close to 300 people and generated $180,000 pesos for four Vallarta charities, Agape, Arturo and the Children of God, Asilo de Ancianos San Juan Diego and Becas Vallarta.
This year, Palomazo Culinario continues to offer the opportunity to help raise much-needed funds for these local charities while enjoying live entertainment by a variety of local musical groups plus a fabulous six-course meal prepared by chefs from five of the city’s finest restaurants: Los Xitomates, CafĂ© Des Artistes, La Palapa, Vista Grill, and Azul.
100% of the ticket proceeds will be donated to these Vallarta charities: Agape, a shelter for abused children; Arturo y Los Hijos de Dios, an organization that provides aid for individuals and families in critical need; Asilo de Ancianos San Juan Diego, a shelter for senior citizens; and Becas Vallarta, an institution that assists young Vallartans with scholarships so they can continue their education.
Tickets cost $700 pesos per person and are available at all of the participating restaurants, from any member of the four charities, at the hotel’s concierge desk, or by calling Marriott CasaMagna Puerto Vallarta Resort’s Public Relations Manager, Pamela Garcia, at (322) 226-0000 ext. 6400.
