HALF MARATHON & 5K 2007
Walk, trot or run 5K or 21K and be part of this BIG TROPICAL PARTY. Along the route you will enjoy Mexican music, making every kilometer fun. With a beautiful panorama, excellent weather and perfect elevation you will run one of the most beautiful routes in México.

Sunday, November 4th, 2007.
Starting Time:
6:50 a.m. Half Marathon runners.
7:00 a.m. 5K runners.
The Course:
Start and finish will be located on the County Sports Park “Agustín Flores Contreras” near the Sheraton Hotel. The course first heads north on Francisco Medina Ascencio avenue, past Caracol Plaza, the Pitillal Bridge, Peninsula Plaza, Marina Pier, Sam’s Club, the Navy Base, Marina Vallarta, Marina Plaza, International Airport, Corona Beer Building and then turning back on the Crucero de Las Juntas to the finish line.
Rules:
The current rules of the Mexican Athletic Federation apply.
Registration:
Runners must register no later than Saturday, November 3, 2007. You may register during the Expo at the County Sports Park “Agustin Flores Contreras” from 9:00am to 7:00pm. There will be no registration on the day of the event. You may also register through internet at the Online Registration.
Categories & Divisions, Male & Female:
- Open 18-39 years
- Master A 40-49 years
- Master B 50-59 years
- Master C 60+Over
Entry Fees:
18.00 (US) No refunds. Registration limited to 1,300 runners.
Runners Rights:
- Marathon T-Shirt
- Bib Number
- Medal
- Drinking water provided along the route
- Medical assistance provided during the event
- Washrooms will be available
Prize Money:
$180,000 Mexican Pesos to be divided between all categories and divisions.
After Marathon Dinner:
This year the Carbo Dinner Pasta, will be at the beach of the Costa Club Hotel where we will able to watch the beautiful an unique Puerto Vallarta Sunset, with fireworks, a surprise show and a salsa band for dancing. Enjoy the pasta dinner and Coca Cola, Powerade and Corona beer. There will be a raffel for TVs, Cd players & Free Hotel Nights. Limited seating for 700 people only.
Dinner Times:
- 6:00pm a 7:00pm Red Tickets.
7:15pm a 8:15pm Green Tickets.
Cost of the dinner is $5.00 (US) per person. Children $2.50 pesos each
