When thinking of Latin Techno-Pop, the first name that comes to mind is MOENIA. The group is comprised of Alfonso Pichardo, keyboardist Jorge Soto and keyboardist/programmer Alexander “Midi” Ortega.
Often compared to New Order, Erasure, OMD, The Cure, and Depeche Mode, MOENIA is popular within the Latin club scene while simultaneously pioneering a darker, more experimental and poetic side of Spanish-language electronica.
The tour, named “Solar” after the album released in 2006, follows a more 1980’s electropop style, including more electric guitar sounds.
