SUNDAY March 23
- VALLARTA WINE FESTIVAL 2014 VERBENA POPULAR — 6 – 11 pm in Cardenas Park. Inexpensive wine and food tasting plus entertainment. No cover.
- VIA RECREACTIVA — 8 am to 2 pm. From the Sports Stadium to the Holiday Inn, Fco. Medina Ascencio (the main airport road) will be closed to traffic for a public walk, bicycle, run. Traffic will be diverted to the laterals.
- MERCADO HUANACAXTLE — 9 am to 2 pm in the La Cruz Marina.
- SUNSET MILONGA — 4:30 to 8 pm at the Hotel Rosita, at the top of the Malecon. Free tango lessons from 4:30 to 5:30 and then tango dancing until 8. Food and drink available for purchase.
- CONCERT — Municipal Band, beginning at 6 pm, Presidencia Square, FREE
- PUBLIC DANCE — the Sunday Evening Dance, 7 pm, traditional dancing to live music in the Presidencia Square, FREE
- THE MALECÓN — When the sun goes down, the Malecón comes alive. Come out and stroll the Malecon. It’s a Sunday tradition here.

- MALECON SCULPTURE WALKING TOUR — 9:30 am. Gary Thompson leads the best free art tour in Vallarta. Discover the real stories behind the many sculptures on our Malecon.
- IFC HOME TOURS — 10:30 am. Benefits the charity programs of the International Friendship Club. Leaves from the Sea Monkey on Los Muertos beach. 450 pesos.
WEDNESDAY March 26

- CENTRO VALLARTA ART WALK — 6 to 10 pm, visit 10 of Vallarta’s finest galleries in a casual evening of cocktails and art. Meet the artists. Free.
THURSDAY March 27
- 14 FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE EN PUERTO VALLARTA
- VALLARTA SCENE EXPAT MEETUP — 5 pm to 8 pm at Casa Isabel, on a hill overlooking Old Town. A lively *extended* informal happy hour get-together for expats, visitors and nationals. Everyone is invited.
- MARINA VALLARTA FARMERS MARKET — 6 to 10 pm on the boardwalk.
- CONCERT — Municipal Band, 7 pm, Presidencia Square, FREE

- SATURDAY FARMERS MARKET — At the Paradise Community Center on Pulpito in Old Town. 9 to 1 pm. Year-round (this is the “alternative market”).
- VALLARTA TOURIST FARMERS MARKET — 9:30 am to 2 pm at the L. Cardenas Park (This is the “official city-sponsored market”).
- DOGS & CATS — SPCA Pet Adoptions, Los Mangos Library, 10 am to 2 pm.
- GRAN BAZAAR — 10 am to 2 pm at Los Mangos Library.
- PV WRITERS GROUP — PV Writers Group Meeting at the Boutique Theatre, on Basilio Badillo, corner of Naranjo just before the small tunnel., at 10:30 am til noon.
- 2ND ANNUAL CHILI COOKOFF — 1 to 5 pm at El Rio in Paso Ancho. Benefit for assorted charities and events like Toys for tots and the Banderas Bay Women’s Shelter. 200 pesos entry for all-you-can-eat chili (from 15 restaurants) and riblets.
- COFFE BREAK EL MUSICAL — 8:30 pm at Cecatur Auditorium. 50 pesos at the door.
