• LOCAL’S DAY AT LOS VERANOS CANOPY TOUR — 11 am until later. 250 pesos to ride the canopy plus a potluck dinner party in the afternoon. Much more than a canopy ride…

• VALLARTASCENE FRIDAY FIESTA — 6 – 9 pm happy hour at Casa Isabel. Everyone invited to a casual, inexpensive, social evening with the best affordable view in Puerto Vallarta.
• UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN ART SHOW — 6 to 9 pm, at the Galeria Vallarta. Art, Magic and Music, 25 year retrospective and latest paintings by Philippo LoGrande. Cocktail inauguration 6-9 p.m. After “Scotch on the Rocks party” at The Scotsman, 1 block south on Libertad 159.
• LOS MANGOS FRIDAY MOVIE — 7 pm, Vicky, Cristina and Barcelona (2008) at Biblioteca Los Mangos, with discussion after movie. 20 pesos.

 
SATURDAY August 6

• VALLARTA FARMERS MINI-MARKET — 10 am to 1 pm, corner of Rodolfo Gomez and Olas Altas at Trattoria Michel. Good food, good people, no trinkets.
• DOGS & CATS — SPCA Pet Adoptions, Los Mangos Library, 10 am to 2 pm
• LITERARY — Vallarta Writers’ Group Meeting, 10:30 am, Los Mangos Biblioteca.
