The Orquestas Sinfónicas Juveniles de San Diego y Tijuana, as part of their Tour Mexico International, integrate into a symphonic ensemble to provide the Conciertos de Primavera accompanied by the Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Guadalajara.
The repertoire consists of music from North America, like Rhapsody in Blue, American composer George Gershwin and our Mexican composer Arturo Márquez, among others, managing to create a binational environment.
The ensemble is led by Dr. Angela Yeung.
There are two performances.
- Friday March 18, 11 am, at the Auditorio Juan Luis Cifuentes Lemus in Vallarta campus of the University of Guadalajara.
- Saturday March 19 at 7 pm in the Plaza de la Hermandad, located between the Villa Premiere and Buenaventura Hotels.
