Mass Book Signing on Los Muertos Beach » Feb 10

Did you ever suspect that the strange person living in the condo next door was doing something nefarious? Maybe an international jewel thief or a spy or a mass murderer? This is a good time to find out. There are published authors living here in Vallarta and they’ll all be gathered in one public location this coming Sunday. They will be revealed.

On Sunday, February 10th from 2 to 4 pm at Daiquiri Dick’s, The Puerto Vallarta Writers’ Group, as a finale to their Weekend-Long Writers Workshop, will host a mass book signing by many local authors. Over 20 authors attended last year’s event.

For the authors and the masses, there is no charge to attend. Authors will be given table space (in the shade). This IS the literary scene in Puerto Vallarta.

Siempre Sol 2

by a backstage god

Solomon Rose is backat the New Santa Barbara Theater on Olas Altas to reprise his successful show from last season.

Siempre SolIt is called “Siempre Sol 2.”

The set is performed on the lines of a Las Vegas Night Club Venue, and in his own words it ”will be X-rated, and includes guest spots, the same as I did last season.” (Believe me, the only thing X-rated about the show will be coming from back-stage, because somehow during the conversation I got coerced into helping him – I did that once last season for his show Cage Folles and the script I was working to back-stage bore no resemblance to the one he and the rest of the cast were performing ‘out front.’ If it happens this time, both he and the audience are going to know about it – he’s prepared to take the chance, wotta trouper).

These dedicated young people, from only 30 in the first year, have grown to be almost two hundred now. They have traveled in the last couple of years around Mexico and in the United States and Canada and they have represented their country with pride and have danced wholeheartedly.
