2008 New Years at the Santa Barbara Theater » 8 pm until…

The Santa Barbara Theater is throwing a gala New Year’s Eve Party with Alex Ryer and Los Bambinos in Concert. For the $650 peso all-inclusive ticket you get both shows, open bar and hors d’oeuvres, champagne toast and Party Favors.

Doors open at 8:00 pm / Alex Ryer hits the stage at 9:00 for a 50-minute concert / Los Bambinos follow at around 10:30 pm. The shows end at 11:45 pm and folk head outside to count down the clock, enjoy the fireworks, and party till ???

Your ticket provides a run-of-the-house “haven” from the crowd outside, should you want to retreat from the festivities. Get your tickets early, we do assign reserved seats.

A Strange Vallarta Xmas Dinner » Dec 25

We will be offering a private traditional Christmas Dinner at Cafe Roma on Dec. 25th again this year. This is the 3rd year of this tradition and I hope it continues for years to come.

We supply the Turkeys and Ham and ask that you bring a small potluck dish to share with others. If this is not possible… come anyway. Your smile and presence is what counts.

Doors open at 2:00 pm on Xmas Day. Feast starts at about 4:00 pm. Doors close at about 6 or 7 pm. Bring your own booze as the bar is closed I will supply mix and glasses.

Limited seating… come sign up at Cafe Roma in person starting December 10th. There is a 100 peso refundable deposit required to hold a seat. No catches… this is about having a Christmas get-together with friends and family.

Que?Pasa Noche Buena Street Party » Dec 24

There will be a Christmas Eve Party at Que?Pasa on December 24. The party will start at 8 pm and the street in front will be closed at 10pm. Father Christmas will be on hand to pass out toys for the neighborhood kids. There will be live music by James Morgan and Chris Kenny.

Please bring toys to hand out to the kids….

Que?Pasa will be collecting toys all week so drop one or a few off whenever you head over.

Choppers Car Show » Dec 15 y 16

The 2nd Annual Puerto Vallarta Christmas Car Show will be held on December 15 and 16 in the stadium across from the Sheraton Hotel. Along with the exhibition of the cars in the Stadium, there will be:

Saturday, December 15: At 7pm a caravan of the participating cars will leave the Sheraton and there will be a neon competition (¡I love cars with neon!).
Sunday, December 16: Tuning competition.
