Los Mangos Mexican Fiesta

LOS MANGOS BILIOTECA & CULTURAL CENTER will have its 1st Annual Mexican Fiesta on May 19, 2012 at the Library, starting at 7 pm. The cost is 200 Pesos per person in advance or 250 Pesos at the Door. This includes one drink of your choice. Valet Parking is available for 50 pesos.

This Event will feature a Show on the grounds of the Library including the PV Youth Orchestra, the Folkloric Ballet and Mariachis.

Local restaurants will prepare for you a variety of typical Mexican dishes. Of course we will have a bar for your pleasure.

Please join us for this extraordinary Mexican Fair, a great opportunity to experience some of Mexico’s culture with fun entertainment ranging from games and prizes, to Photo Shoots, Mexican Bingo and more.

This will be an all–encompassing Cultural Event not to be missed.

Expo Tequila 2012 – Puerto Vallarta

From April 20 to 22, Puerto Vallarta will host Expo Tequila 2012. It is set up on the lower Malecon, just north of the Rio Cuale bridge and opposite the multistory parking garage.

The hours are from 3 to 10 pm each day, with the official opening being at 5 pm on Friday, April 20.

Many tequila producers will be exhibiting their products for tasting and purchase. There will be performances by mariachi and rock bands plus a “miss tequila” contest.

The event is for the whole family and is totally free.

Vallarta RiverFest 2012 to Celebrate Children’s Day

El Rio BBQ Bar and Pasitos de Luz are launching the first annual RiverFest to benefit the special needs children of Puerto Vallarta.

This festival event, held in conjunction with National Children’s Day, will take place on Saturday, April 28, from noon to 7 pm at El Rio BBQ Bar & Restaurant in Colonia Paso Ancho. Throughout the day you’ll enjoy great Bar-B-Que, special dishes prepared by a Guest Chef, Arts and Crafts vendors, and live music. In addition to great El Rio BBQ food the Guest Chef for the day will be William Carballo of Barcelona Tapas.

El Rio BBQ Bar opened in December 2011 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Its owners, Kurt Sinner and Hollis Harris have a combined experience in the event-restaurant-catering-BBQ business of more than fifty years.
