Cruz Roja Pasta & Chili Cookoff » Feb 9

The location of this culinary challenge will be Las Huertas Mongolian Grill in Paso Ancho. The public should show up at 2 pm for an all-you-can meal. 100 pesos will be charged.

Anyone wishing to enter dishes for judging should be set up by 1pm.

If you think you’re a good cook come out and prove it. You’ll receive a nice award certificate and your picture in the paper. All cooks will receive 3 free drinks.

Winners will receive prizes of 3 free two-night stays at Casa Isabel.


Categories for Judging (1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category):

  • Most Unique
  • People’s Choice
  • Judges’ Choice

The goal is to raise $1500 (US) for a defibrillator and 2 batteries for Cruz Roja

To get to Las Huertas, take a taxi or the R-04 Paso Ancho bus. It is a 15 minute bus ride or a 5 minute taxi ride(!) from Old Town Vallarta.
