Biblioteca Higuera Holiday Fundraiser

On November 26th, you can get a jump-start on your Christmas shopping while helping Biblioteca Higuera founder Sally Conley keep her little children’s library alive.
Each year, more and more children benefit from the little library lovingly created by Sally Conley. A former literary agent, Sally’s life has been dedicated to books, reading, writing and teaching these joys to children.
Tucked away behind a giant Higuera (rubber) tree, once you enter this magical world filled with pint-sized chairs, colorful paintings and craftwork made by the kids, you are immediately whisked back to your childhood days of finding that special book in the library and entering your own private world.
Keeping the library up, running and growing is an ongoing financial struggle. So, on Monday, November 26th, from 6-9 pm, please join us at Casa de la Higuera (Hidalgo 256 – two blocks down from the back of the cathedral in Pitillal) for a Holiday Boutique Benefit to raise funds for Sally’s little library.
This is the 3rd annual fundraiser with the previous events being a huge success, lots of fun and surprises!
This year there will be a wide variety of specialty gift baskets, created by volunteers, for purchase. Great holiday shopping! Sports baskets, game baskets, bath baskets, pet baskets to name only a few.
As well, raffle prizes abound with some fabulous prizes!
Please join us for this very special affair, enjoy some savory food and wine, greet old friends, make new ones and start in on your holiday shopping – all while supporting a worthwhile cause.
Tickets cost just $250 pesos each and include food, 2 drinks and 2 raffle tickets.
