A new statue, The Washer Woman, sculpted by Jim Demetro, was installed on the Malecón against the Molino de Agua wall, just south of the Malecon Cuale River bridge. Mr. Demetro also created The Dancers, a bronze statue just north of the bridge. The Washer Woman was donated to the city and people of Puerto Vallarta by Mr. Berry, one of the owners of the Molina de Aqua construction project.
