This is the LOW season. Lo siento, amigos, pero Vallarta is now for the residents and the Nationals, not the foreign tourists. Many, many private parties… lots of beach time… lots of sun…

- CONCERT — Municipal Band, 6 pm, Presidencia Square, FREE
- DANCE — the Sunday Evening Dance, 7 pm, Presidencia Square, FREE
- THE MALECÓN — When the sun goes down, the Malecón comes alive. (except at this time the Malecón is closed for renovations….)

- IV EXPO ARTESANA SOYATÁN — all day at the San Sebastian City Hall. Many local artisans display their creation for sale. Exquisite furniture and textiles. Plus much more. Food, Entertainment. Free admittance.
- VALLARTA SCENE FRIDAY FIESTA — 6 pm to 9 pm at Langostino’s on Los Muertos Beach. A casual *extended* happy hour get-together for expats and diehard visitors.
SATURDAY August 13
- IV EXPO ARTESANA SOYATÁN — all day at the San Sebastian City Hall. Many local artisans display their creation for sale. Exquisite furniture and textiles. Plus much more. Food, Entertainment. Free admittance.
- FULL MOON
- VALLARTA FARMERS MINI-MARKET — 10 am to 1 pm, corner of Rodolfo Gomez and Olas Altas at Trattoria Michel. Good food, good people, no trinkets.
- DOGS & CATS — SPCA Pet Adoptions, Los Mangos Library, 10 am to 2 pm
- LITERARY — Vallarta Writers’ Group Meeting, 10:30 am, Los Mangos Biblioteca.
- TARDEADA LATINA / TEA DANCE LATINO “VERANO PELIGROSO” — 4 to 10 pm at Club KOX. 30 pesos admission. Sponsored by SETAC.
- ORQUESTA SINFONICA JUVENIL RCM — Benefit concert at 7:30 pm in Plaza Caracol. To raise money for instruments for the children in the orchestra. 120 pesos.
