Maximo Alfonso Lopez and The Group Folkra – Mesoamérica.

On July 26 at 8:30 pm, there will be a presentation of Mesoamerica music with “Maximo Alfonso” who specializes in ethnic Mexican music, from more than 20 years ago, and the Huichol group, “Las Lopez,” three musicians from birth to interpret regional music accompanied by his guitar, bass and violin, and also introduce the group Folkra with Latin American instruments. It is directed by Professor Nestor Villasenor of the Cuale Cultural Center.

Representando a Mesoamérica participará “Máximo Alfonso” que se especializa en música étnica mexicana, desde hace más de 20 años; el grupo huichol “Los López”, tres músicos de nacimiento que interpretan música regional acompañados de su guitarra, bajo y violín; así también se presentará el grupo Folkra de instrumentos latinoamericanos que dirige el profesor Nestor Villaseñor del Centro Cultural Cuale.

Three parties headed respectively: hell, purgatory and paradise. Hell: Images of war, without order or historical cron’lógico. People fleeing, countries devastated. All black and white and silent color. Imagenes, four pieces of music. purgatory: the city of Sarajero today, martyred as many others. Characters real and imaginary. A visit to the bridge is being rebuilt to show that symbolizes the transition from guilt to forgiveness. Paradise: a young suicide finds peace in the water.

An Encounter of Cultures:

- Marijose Dance Studio will present classical Spanish dance accompanied by some movements of flamenco.
- Shanti Studio show a spectacle created by its students.
- Alina Moran will bring a mixture of Arabic dance, Hindu and Egyptian called Samkya.
- Nismaharakanta will delight the audience with a dance Rack Sharqui, also known as belly dancing.
