It’s hot and humid — and the town’s very quiet. What better time is there to attend a chamber concert in the air-conditioned confines of the Hotel Hola Vallarta in the North Hotel Zona on Blvd Francisco Medina Ascencio.
Violinist Ivan Tuvaev will team up with pianists Carolina Rodriguez and Alexander Izbitser for an 8:30 concert in the hotel theater.
Tickets are available at the Centro Cultural Cuale and at the Restaurante La Petite France

Saxophonist Martin Montenegro is making a rare public appearance at Cuates y Cuetes Cuates y Cuetes Wednesday night from 8 pm to 11 pm. With him will be Paco Barajas (guitar), Miguel Salazar (congas) and Steve York on bass. Come early – stay late!
On August 4th at 7pm at the Biblioteca Los Mangos, La Academia de Artes y Cultura Europea and Biblioteca Los Mangos will present a DVD projection viewing of the opera The Magic Flute by Mozart. Tickets are $100 pesos and are available at the door.
There will be a beach concert as part of the Dia de los Muertos holiday festivities. From 6 to 10pm. Los Muertos Beach at the pier. Sponsored by Cuates y Cuetes. Details will be a surprise.
