As if meeting with the fate of the number 13, the Puerto Vallarta Film Festival is stumbling this year, almost falling into non-existence.
No commercial movie theater is willing to show the films and there is little commercial or governmental backing so the Festival is taking their show on the road, literally, to the streets of Vallarta, with free showings and performances at Los Arcos Amphitheater, at the University and at the Cuale Cultural Center.

The Event
A combination of The Amazing Race, Fear Factor and Survivor.
A One Day Event where contestants receive clues and challenges around Puerto Vallarta.
Contestants receive the clues and receive points for each challenge they complete until they find the treasures at each stop.
The team that finds the treasure first and has the most points is declared the BIG DOG of Puerto Vallarta and wins the Grand Prize of $10,000 USD in CASH.
The final awards party will be held at La Iguana in Old Town and is open to the public.
