βThose Oldies but Goodies,β a celebration of the golden age of Rock & Roll, opens Wednesday, November 28th at the Agustin Flores Contreras Cultural Auditorium (formerly called the Cecatur Auditorium), at Zaragoza at corner of Matamoros (Near the Main Plaza).
This show will feature the talents of well-known local performers Mikki Prost, Len Greenough, and Jace Damon, as well as some very talented newcomers to the Vallarta stage. About 40 rock ‘n’ roll songs will be featured during the show.
The show will run Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings for 2 weeks, with the final performance on Friday, December 7th.
Mikki has been seen in a large number of acting, singing and dancing roles and is well known to theatergoers. In this show, Mikki will be performing new numbers that will give theater goers an opportunity to see and appreciate this talented lady in a new light.
Len (of Blu by Len) is no stranger to the Vallarta stage and this musical showcases his many talents as a performer.
Jace has been on stage in a number of plays here, and has been singing R&R songs for years. Before settling in our town, he was a member of a group called βThe Mello-kings.β His voice and command of the songs of the golden age of Rock & Roll are undeniable.

This show is being produced by Curtain Call Community Theater, A. C., a non-profit Mexican corporation. At the conclusion of the theater season, profits from the shows will be donated to local charities.
A Christmas story, The Bench, will also open December 12 at 8:00 p.m. for a nine-show run over three weeks. (more details later)
