SUNDAY March 10
- VALLARTA BIRD FESTIVAL
- VIA RECREACTIVA — 8 am to 2 pm. From the Sports Stadium to the Holiday Inn, Fco. Medina Ascencio (the main airport road) will be closed to traffic for a public walk, bicycle, run. Traffic will be diverted to the laterals.
- LA CRUZ FARMERS MARKET (MERCADO HUANACAXTLE) — 10 am to 2 pm at the La Cruz Marina.
- SUNSET MILONGA — 4:30 to 8 pm at the Hotel Rosita, at the top of the Malecon. Free tango lessons from 4:30 to 5:30 and then tango dancing until 8. Food and drink available for purchase.
- BANDERAS BAY WOMENS SHELTER FUNDRAISER — 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Food, fashion, drinks, music and a very good cause. At the Paradise Community Center, 127 Pulpito. 200 pesos.
- CONCERT — Municipal Band, beginning at 6 pm, Presidencia Square, FREE
- PUBLIC DANCE — the Sunday Evening Dance, 7 pm, traditional dancing to live music in the Presidencia Square, FREE
- XUITLA BALLET — 8 pm at Los Arcos del Malecon. Folkloric Dance. Free.
- THE MALECÓN — When the sun goes down, the Malecón comes alive. Come out and stroll the Malecon. It’s a Sunday tradition here.

- MALECON SCULPTURE WALKING TOUR — 9:30 am. Gary Thompson leads the best free art tour in Vallarta. Discover the real stories behind the many sculptures on our Malecon.
- TOURS OF CENTRO VALLARTA — at 9 am and noon beginning at the old city hall. Free tours of downtown Vallarta with professional tour guides. The tours include iconic points, galleries, craft markets and some shops and / or restaurants.
- EVERY TUESDAY FILMS — In Darkness. In Polish and Yiddish w/English subs. 7 pm at the Paradise Community Center, 127 Pulpito. 60 pesos advance, 70 at the door. Info: snowkamp1@yahoo.com

- IFC HOME TOURS — 10:30 am staring at I. Vallarta and Aquiles Serdan. Tour the homes of the Vallarta rich and famous. Proceeds benefit the IFC cleft palate program. 450 pesos.
- PASTA/CHILI COOKOFF — 1 pm at Nacho Daddy. Benefiting The Banderas Bay Women’s Shelter. 125 pesos.
- INTERNATIONAL FOOD FAIR & MARKET — 4 to 7:30 pm at the Paradise Community Center at 127 Pulpito.
- VALLARTA ART WALK — 6 to 10 pm. Stroll through 13 downtown art galleries, meet the artists and see some of the finest art Vallarta has to offer. Some galleries offer welcoming cocktails and snacks. Each week is different. Free.
- BINGO NIGHT AT NACHO DADDY — 6 pm at 180 Basilio Badillo. Half time entertainment with part of the SORDID LIVES cast. Proceeds benefit the PuRR Project, a no-kill feline sanctuary north of Vallarta.
- FIESTA MEXICANA — 7 to 11 pm in Parque Lázaro Cárdenas Plaza. Free musical and dance performances by local artists, along with affordable food and beverages (10 to 70 pesos a serving) provided by local restaurants. Sponsored by the city of Vallarta.
- ON THE WINGS OF MUSIC — 7 pm at Teatro Vallarta. Performances by: Puerto Vallarta Men’s Choir, Xuitla Ballet, Frixoleros, Casa Azul (children’s choir). Benefit to save the Military Macaws. 100 pesos. Tickets at Teatro Vallarta or 322 2287 888
- VALLARTA EN BICI — Every Wednesday 100s of bicyclists ride from the Whale sculpture at the Marina to the Malecon. 9 pm. Free.
THURSDAY March 14

- VALLARTA SCENE EXPAT MEETUP — 5 pm to 8 pm at Casa Isabel. A lively *extended* happy hour get-together for expats, visitors and nationals. Everyone is invited.
- CONCERT — Municipal Band, 7 pm, Presidencia Square, FREE
FRIDAY March 15
- CONFESSIONS OF A GAY PRIEST — 5 pm at Coco’s Kitchen, 122 Pulpito. Book signing. Free (except for the book…).
- XUITLA BALLET — 7:30 pm in Lazaro Cardenas Park. Folkloric Dance. Free.
SATURDAY March 16
- SATURDAY FARMERS MARKET — At the Paradise Community Center on Pulpito in Old Town. 9 to 1 pm. Year-round (this is the “alternative market”).
- VALLARTA TOURIST FARMERS MARKET — 9:30 am to 2 pm at Caranza and Pino Suarez (This is the “official city-sponsored market”).
- DOGS & CATS — SPCA Pet Adoptions, Los Mangos Library, 10 am to 2 pm.
- LITERARY — PV Writers Group Meeting at Los Mangos Library at 10:30 am.
